Week 7 @ School [Phase 2 Internship Programme]

Moon Day special assembly was conducted in the morning. An exhibition was organised from 11:00 AM. I had two classes one in 9B and the other in 9D.

23/07/2024

It was the last day of the internship of student-teachers of KUCTE, Kulakkada. We distributed sweets to the school students. In addition to this, I had substitution classes in 10B.

24/07/2024

It was the last day of the internship. We were a bit sad about leaving the school. We met the students, teachers and other staff and bid adieu to the school.

On this day, the Achievement test for class 9 was conducted based on unit 1. In 9B, it was in the 4th and 9D in the 5th periods.

I distributed the answer sheets of the test and discussed with them, the areas that need improvement. An announcement regarding the International Moon Day and Inspire Award programs was made. I also took 10A students for PT.

There was an assembly by the 10A class on Mandela Day. In the third and fourth periods, I took the class in 9B. The PTA meeting for class 9 was also conducted.

I took 5C and 10C for PT in the 3rd and 6th periods. I had my period in 9D in the last period.

Innovative Work - Video on Debts of Gratitude

 A video on debts of gratitude was presented to the class on 10/07/2024. The tools - Canva and Deep AI were used to prepare the video. Through the video, students can easily understand the concepts.

Week 5 @ School [Phase 2 Internship Programme]

Four teachers were on leave today, so we had classes from morning to evening. My class was in the 4th and 5th period. In the afternoon, students from 8A and 8B came to learn reading and writing.

The unit test of Malayalam was conducted for 9th class students and I had duty in 9B today. I had no classes as per the timetable. However, I had to go to various classes for substitution.

I had two classes today - the second period in 9B and the third period in 9D. In the third period, Jijan sir visited the school and observed the class.

It was Thursday and a special assembly on 'World Population Day' was conducted by the Social Science Club. The assembly had a population day song and a poster display. I took 5C students to the playground in the second period. My class was in the 4th period.

The inauguration of a 'Waste Management Plant' was conducted from 10:30 AM. The PTA meeting of class 10 was conducted in the afternoon. I had a class in the last period.

Week 4 @ School [Phase 2 Internship Programme]

The month started off fresh. It was a hectic day for me. In the 2nd period, I took 7C students for PT.  I had classes in the 3rd, 4th and 5th periods too.

Binulal sir and Sojiya teacher came for observation and project discussion today. The Social Science Club inauguration was conducted during the fifth period.

03/07/2024

I had classes in the 2nd and 3rd periods. In addition to this, I went to 10 A class as a substitute. The inauguration of the Science Club was conducted at 1.45 PM.

It was an Educational Strike and there were no classes.

05/07/2024

The day started with a special assembly to commemorate the birth anniversary of Basheer. Magazines by students were released and a skit and book reviews were presented. In the afternoon, there was the inauguration of the Hindi club. Later, a flash mob against drug abuse was conducted by Dhvani.

Week 3 @ School [Phase 2 Internship Programme]

The unit test for class 10 began and we had exam duty in the morning. I had classes in 9B and 9D. The classes for the new batch of higher secondary began officially.

There was an educational strike but we were present in the school. A few students came to school but they left at 10:00 AM.

A Rainy Day

It was a rainy day. When spots of sunshine were visible an Anti-drug day rally was conducted. It was led by students of the Scouts and Guides. I had class in the 2nd and the 3rd periods in 9B and 9D.

My class in 9D was in the 4th period. In the second period, I went to observe Arya's class. In the 5th period, I took 8C for PT. I had a substitution in 10D during the 6th period.

After the morning prayer, an Anti-drug awareness class, dance and skit was conducted by Asraya, Kalayapuram. In the 4th period, I went to 10A. In the afternoon, there was an inauguration of the 'Suchithwam Club'. My class was in the 7th period.

Week 2 @ School [Phase 2 Internship Programme]

The day was vibrant and active. I had to go to substitution in 10 A and 10B instead of Aji Sir as the selection process of SPC was going on. The HM was promoted to the office of AEO and this was the last working day of him in our school. I also received a portrait of me drawn by a student of class 10.

As part of Reading Day, a special assembly was conducted. 2 magazines prepared by students were revealed and the students who won USS were given mementoes and cash awards. Reading day programs were conducted at 12:00 noon. I had classes in 9B and 9D in the second and fourth period respectively.

The day passed without much activity. Early in the morning DEO, Kollam, came to the school. After a minor inspection, he left. I had a class in 9B.

It was yoga day. A special programme by SPC was conducted. My class was in the last period.

The day followed the time table of Tuesday. Since most of the teachers were on leave, we had to engage all the classes. It was a hectic day.
