Conscientization Report EDU 11
Environmental conscientization among school students is crucial for fostering awareness and action towards pressing ecological issues. Through education and engagement, students develop a sense of responsibility and stewardship for the planet, leading to sustainable behaviours and a commitment to preserving natural resources for future generations.
Conscientization of ozone layer depletion is essential to raise awareness about the causes, effects, and solutions to this environmental issue. Understanding its significance promotes informed action to mitigate ozone depletion and protect human health and ecosystems.
A conscientization programme on Ozone Layer depletion was conducted on 16th January in 8C class. In the class, the following topics were covered:
- What is the ozone layer
- What is ozone layer depletion
- The causes of ozone layer depletion
- Impact of ozone layer depletion
- Actions to reduce it.
